Abstract

Lund, situated in the centre of Oresund region, is one of the oldest cities in Sweden. This city has earned a reputation as "Euro culture capital" and" inovation centre" depending on its well known Lund University and serious world famous companies nearby. The city aims at sustainable traffic programme to develop an integrated, environmentally friendly traffic system. This paper discuss and introduces a series of viewpoints technical measures and strategies in Lund, such as:the sustainable traffic(train, bus, bicycle) network; parking spots plan; green motors and fuels; sustainable designing of traffic construction, etc. Comparing with Chinese traffic situation, some personal advices are also put forward.
