Abstract :
In certain business process reengineering (BPR) methodology, process team design and role assignment are problems in the process creation phase. Some principles are proposed for process team design. IDEF3 is utilized to portray the intended process, and then U/C matrix is introduced to identify roles (groups) in process teams and the skills required for each role in the process team planning sub-stage. Finally, the process team design result is evaluated according to the principles proposed, and a comparison is made between the conclusions with Microsoft development process.
