Abstract :
An EC/East-European collaborative project is in progress to demonstrate a new deterministic, geometric optics/uniform theory of diffraction approach to site-specific prediction of the narrow and wideband characteristics of urban microcells. The software and measurement hardware developments and validation philosophy are outlined, and some practical and implementation issues are discussed
