Abstract :
The nonlinear behavioral models are very important in the linearization of RF power amplifiers. And when establishing model, the memory effect is not neglected. By studying the characteristic of the parallel Wiener model and Saleh model, this paper proposes the Wiener-Saleh model for RF power amplifiers, which exhibit memory effects. The model extraction is performed using two-tone harmonic-balance measurement with different tone frequency spacing and power level. It is found that by using such a model, the accuracy and the efficiency has been advanced at a certain extent.
