Recent transition of laboratory pulsed power to the marketplace

For centuries it has been the alchemist´s dream to turn base metals into gold, and in the latter half of this century it has been the pulsed power community´s dream to turn laboratory curiosities into mass produced commercial products. The first dream has yet to be accomplished and the latter is only evident in a few examples such as the microwave oven. Here, the author describes some of the pulsed power technologies that are now transitioning to the marketplace
