Abstract :
We examined the noise properties and the temporal dynamics of the multimode injection locking process in an Er-doped fiber laser. The actively mode locked extended cavity diode laser, operating at 1.53 μm produced pulse trains with a repetition of 1GHz and pulse widths of 25 ps
