Abstract :
An analytical solution of electromagnetic scattering in a homogeneous plasma anisotropic sphere located in a Hermite-Gaussian beam is obtained. The incident beam field is expressed by the complex-source-point method and expanded in terms of spherical vector wave functions(VSWFS). Applying boundary conditions on the spherical interface between air and plasma sphere, the scattered electromagnetic fields of the Hernite-Gaussian beam are derived. Numerical results for scattering intensity are presented. The discussion about the effects of beam parameters and sphere parameters is given.
