  • Abstract
This paper presents a new series-shunt symmetry switch integrated in a 0.12-um triple-well CMOS technology up to 35 GHz makes transmit-receive (T/R) antennas reconfigurable in wireless multipath channels. This switch design employs series-shunt architecture to accommodate the design challenge of low insertion loss (IL) and high isolation (ISO) performance. It exhibits lower than 1-dB insertion loss, higher than 40-dB isolation. 21-dBm input power at 1-dB compression point (P1dB) is achieved without using additional techniques to improve the linearity.
