Abstract
Nowadays, utilities have received several compliments because of damage of low voltage equipments. These damages can be caused by direct lightning strike, induced overvoltages in the secondary network or inside the customer house or by transferred voltages. The utilities can be responsible by the damages if the main origin of these damages is the transferred voltages. Considering this, the main goal of this paper is to develop a transformer model to study the transferred voltages, using simple testing parameters and the ATP (alternative transient program).
