Abstract :
A novel bandpass filter based on comb microstrip structure is proposed, fabricated, and measured. This designed bandpass filter provides low passband insertion loss, very sharp transitions at the edges of the passband, easy fabrication, and low cost. The simulated and measured results show that the novel filter has wide passband of 600 MHz for 3-dB bandwidth. The performances of the proposed filter are demonstrated by measured results, which are in good agreement with the simulated ones.
