Abstract :
This paper presents a novel approach to design in-phase/out-of-phase dual-band power divider realized on double-sided parallel-strip line (DSPSL). The proposed circuit features a simple planar structure with variable ports impedances, frequency-independent isolation bandwidth and easy implementation of in-phase/out-of-phase output performance without changing the circuit. Closed-form design equations are derived using ABCD matrix analysis. For verification purpose, both simulated and measured results of a DSPSL power divider operating at GSM900/1800 are shown.
