Abstract
The speed tracking problem for a permanent magnet synchronous motor is investigated. A motor speed tracking control law is developed using the exact linearization methodology. A linear observer is integrated in order to offer the motor speed and acceleration which are required for realizing the above control scheme. The closed-loop stability is studied by the way of Lyapunov theory and the control strategy is tested by simulation
