Abstract :
How to provide better services for cluster users along with the cluster technology gains ground? An integrated cluster OS with friendly user environment is a trend. On the basis of Fire-Phoenix, a fully integrated, highly reliable and scalable cluster OS, the PWP (fire-Phoenix Web Portal) aims to provide one-station services for all kinds of cluster users. The PWP is a friendly, secure and flexible Web portal based on the MVC (Model-View-Controller) pattern, easy for maintenance and upgrade. It has been applied successfully on several supercomputers, together with the Fire-Phoenix cluster OS. This paper mainly discusses the design of the PWP
