Abstract :
In this study, we recognize different stages of Diabetic Retinopathy (NPDR - Non Proliferative Diabetic Retinopathy and PDR - Proliferative Diabetic Retinopathy) and differentiate it from a normal eye with the study of fundus images. Features are extracted from these images and fed into the MLP (Multilayer Perceptron) for classification and the results have shown an accuracy of 94.11%.
