Abstract
E use literature, statistics, logical analysis method to analyze the number, the layout, the type of master colleges of physical education and their professionals. The result shows that the enrollment number of master institutions of physical education is 120, these colleges cover 29 provinces (municipalities and autonomous regions), there are not master colleges of physical education in Ningxia, Tibet; authorized points of physical education master´s degree have 262 in total, normal colleges have 103 authorized points, normal colleges have become the main force for physical postgraduate education. Although sports colleges only 55 authorized points, the position of master of physical training can not be replaced by other types of institutions. We suggest to set up special macro-control agencies to enhance macro-control to the layout of master colleges of physical education; to establish master colleges of physical education in Ningxia, Tibet, improve settings of master professionals of physical education in Hainan, Guizhou and other provinces; to broaden the research expertise to meet the economic development and social needs.
