Abstract
In this paper we introduce a new control method for uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) without using reference signals. This is accomplished by a feedback law associated to a Lyapunov function which guarantees the stability and robustness of the system. Furthermore an adaptive mechanism is included to cope with changes in the load. Simulations show that the performance of the proposed system meets the requirements.
