Abstract :
In this letter, the linearisation technique of DFB lasers with applications to AM-VSB lightwave CATV systems was presented. With a careful selection of bias point the only 42 channel capability of laser transmitter was able to be extended to 60 channel with our simple predistortion circuit. In addition, multiple subbands were suggested for easily trimming the phase controller and attenuator for ultrawide band extension
