Abstract
The direct torque control (DTC) method is widely used for the analysis of symmetrical rotary induction machines. In this paper, the conventional rotary motor theory is extended for linear induction machine analysis. For this purpose a linear induction machine is designed and developed. in order to validate the proposed control model, results from experimental tests and simulations are presented.
