  • Abstract
    Higher engineering education (HEE) is an important stage of training qualified engineers. Main problems and difficulties for training qualified engineers in current China HEE were analyzed; ldquoReturn to engineeringrdquo educational reform featured by novel type of university industry cooperation was explored. More than seven year practice in the college of computer software of Zhejiang University of Technology has shown that the engineering concept, analysis and design capabilities, team cooperation ability, profession and application innovation consciousness of the graduates were strengthen greatly. The competitive ability of the graduates to obtain employment was enhanced, and good assessment from engineering employer confirms the success of our engineering educational reform.
