Abstract
A decision making tool in competitive environments is proposed in this paper, which is based upon an analysis of the methodology of a human being for decision making in competitive environments. So it is similar to our way of making decisions in competitive environments. The tool is based upon the knowledge in our hands, instead of only depending on past experience like many approaches in literature. Natural concepts such as “win”, “loss”, “advantage” and “disadvantage” for decision making in competitive environments are formally defined. With these the basic notion “supporting degree” for each action available in an environment is introduced, which provides a reasonable measurement for our potential decisions. Finally an algorithm for decision making in competitive environments based upon such a formalization is given in a contracted but still intelligible manner.
