Abstract :
Nowadays, with commercial and the IT technology´s development, the complex event processing (CEP) is becoming more and more popular in the new IT application. Miscellaneous business factors have accelerated CEP´s introduction, such as compliance with regulations on-line, demand for cost reduction leading to more automation, technology developments like RFID, desire for greater awareness of business behavior through business activity monitoring, business performance management and so on. Currently CEP is already widely used in business activity monitor to avoid a network hit or prevent committing crime etc. In this paper, CEP is researched in a credit card application based on the enterprise transaction server CICS 4.1. A new CEP solution is proposed to enable an enterprise to react to changing patterns, respond to new opportunities in the ever-changing business community.
