  • Abstract
Students in software engineering and computer science departments usually experience several group projects during the whole undergraduate study. Due to the difficulties in evaluating an individual´s contribution, group assessment approaches mostly focus on the delivery of software products and documentations. By conducting a survey among undergraduates in Zhejiang Gongshang University, we analyze existing methods in literatures. An improved method is proposed for grading and process control by addressing specific learning objectives, integrating various graders in the process and including a quality assessment report in addition to workload reports. Evaluation result shows the assessment method has a higher student satisfaction and meets most of grading criteria.
