Abstract
The atmospheric duct is an anomalous refractivity structure which often occurs over large ocean surface. A surveillance and inversion method for regional atmospheric duct from multiple radar stations is introduced here. It has 1) a larger surveillance area for atmospheric ducts and 2) more accurate inversion results due to more inputted clutter information. In order to describe the M-profile for evaporation ducts more freely, an improved two-parameter M-profile is used.
