  • Abstract
Bifurcation theory is coupled with harmonic-balance techniques into a powerful CAD tool for the design of stable nonlinear microwave circuits and subsystems. Automatically generated Hopf bifurcations loci provide detailed information on the role of selected circuit parameters in the generation of spurious tones, and are effectively used in support of ordinary optimization to produce spurious-free circuit topologies.<>
