Abstract :
The microwave characteristics of double-ridge waveguide-microstrip line transition are analyzed and simulated by full-wave analysis software. A couple of double-ridge waveguide-microstrip line transitions have been finished. The experimental test data is in well agreement with simulation result in the range of 6.5~18GHz. The testing result indicates that the waveguide-microstrip line transition has good performance in the whole frequency range and fits the requirement of engineering applications.
