Abstract

Information integration technology based on an enabler is presented. Firstly the position and function of the enabler in a computer integrated manufacturing system (CIMS) is discussed. Then the implementation architecture of the system enabler in the information integration platform of CIMS is presented by combining it with the SB-CIMS project which has been developed in the Shenyang blower plant. Finally, the information integration architecture based on the system enabler technology in CIMS is fully discussed
