Abstract
Correlations between the kinds of partial discharges in strongly inhomogenous field in air (needle-plate electrode configuration) at ac voltage and their phase-resolved patterns are presented. The analysis of partial discharge pulse frequency v. test voltage value and the assessment of such a critical voltage, which determines the transformation from pulse- to pulseless partial discharges are given
