Abstract :
The ship manoeuvring simulator has been widely developed and application in many navigation academies, science and study organizations and maritime training centers etc with development of the navigation technology, computer applications, computer graphics etc. However, It has a lot of shortcoming in assessing skill of the navigators when they are manoeuvring the ship by the simulator. In order to assess externally to the navigators, the auto-evaluation system on china coast guard vessel simulator (CCGSEAS) is designed and developed in VC ++6.0. It is designed by modularization programming thought, which is composed of the steering and navigation and dock evaluation module. The evaluation indexes dialog box, steering simulation training evaluation, navigation simulation training evaluation is designed in the steering and navigation evaluation module. It is designed to the vessel type selection dialog box, dock evaluation indexes, evaluation window of dock simulation training, vessel moving parameters as well as track playback dialog in the dock module.
