Abstract :
Many studies utilize PMCHW formulation to compute the scattering of composite metallic and dielectric structures, while the detailed process of analyzing microstrip antenna is rare. And most studies based on the formulation did not give the treatment of contact edges between metallic and dielectric surface. First, this paper details PMCHW formulation for microstrip antennas analysis; second, illuminates the method of dealing with contact-edges basing on the belt-fed model; third, compares the reflection coefficient and input impedance of the hexagonal antenna of computation with the electromagnetic simulation software FEKO´s and HFSS´s to verify the correctness of the method; finally, computes the hexagonal sierpinski fractal microstrip antenna and the disturbed fractal antenna.
