  • Abstract
Signal intelligence describes the capture of electronic or electromagnetic signals by an entity other than the intended recipient for the purpose of uncovering the content of the signal, or otherwise gaining information about the transmitting party. While this was once possible only with custom solutions, todaypsilas commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) technology enables sophisticated signal intelligence applications at a fraction of the cost. This paper describes how you can use COTS hardware in these applications and examines PXI platform features ideally suited to serve the needs of this technology space.
