Abstract :
A novel miniature microstrip dual-mode filter with coupling between source and load is designed and fabricated in this paper. The coupling and routing scheme is presented to model the operation of this filter. The new filter reduces the occupied area up to 34% compared with the conventional one at 2.4 GHz. Meanwhile, the proposed filter has second harmonic suppression performance. It is validated by experiment and simulation with good agreement.
