Abstract
The introduction of the superconducting technology to the resonant circuits results in various advantages, e.g., very large resonant current, very low operation energy loss, very low input power demand, thus makes low-frequency contactless power transfer (CPT) available. A novel CPT scheme is proposed, with the transfer power, transfer efficiency and electromagnetic field discussed to identify this promising method to suit to develop practical low-frequency CPT devices and systems.
