  • Abstract
Based on Anti-Pulling test, the load transferring characteristics of squeezed branch pile are studied. Test results show that squeezed branch pile has such kind of advantages, high Anti-Pulling capacity and small pulling deformation. Branches can significantly increase the Anti-Pulling capacity of pile and they contribute more than 50% in the total Anti-Pulling capacity of a pile. Test results also show that the side and branch Anti-Pulling capacity are of obvious time sequence. Test results are helpful to the design and construction of squeezed branch piles.
