Abstract :
These last years, the use of wind energy has increased considerably. In this paper, the model of the wind electrical conversion system (WECS) is developed. The considered WECS is composed of an induction generator connected to the wind turbine. The goal of this paper is to control the power generated by the WECS to the grid. We propose a new control strategy based on fuzzy logic and sliding mode in order to control the power of the WECS transmitted to the grid and to make the WECS adaptable to different constraints. A Simulation study is done to prove the validation of the strategy used in power control. Conclusions are summarized in the last section.
