Title :
Plenary talk - current research and development being undertaken with CSIRO´s superconductivity and magnetism group
Author_Institution :
CSIRO Mater. Sci. & Eng., Lindfield, NSW, Australia
Abstract :
Superconductivity research and development within CSIRO was initially fostered by the needs of metrology. CSIRO´s frontier work in superconductor-based metrology resulted in an early application of the ac Josephson Effect for determining the “working” volt and the invention of the cryogenic current comparator.
