Abstract :
Adaptive IIR lattice notch filter using a robust variable step-size for the detection of sinusoid in noise is presented. It is shown that the estimated frequency of the proposed algorithm for a single sinusoid is unbias, low variance and low mean square error (MSE) in both high and low signal to noise ratio (SNR) environments. Also, the proposed algorithm works well in high impulse noise environment. The computer simulations are presented to show the performances of the proposed adaptive notch filter.
