Abstract :
With the widespread use of video, biometrics that have a temporal dimension can now be easily used. The element of time allows a wide range of tools used for time series analysis to be applied to biometrics. In this paper we examine more closely the temporal nature offronto-normal gait and that is to examine its basic statistical properties, an important one being its stationarity properties. This is an original application of such analyses to gait data. Such properties would form the basis for autoregressive (AR) analysis of the data.
