Abstract
This paper investigates the effect of different precision on the correlation properties of Chebyshev-map chaotic spread-spectrum sequences. For the first time, it defines the finite precision threshold term and gives the mathematical description of the relationship between the finite precision thresholds of the Chebyshev-map chaotic spread-spectrum sequences and their lengths. It analyzes the effect of the selection of iteration seeds on the correlation properties of the sequences when the calculation precision is lower than the finite precision threshold and proposes the criterion of seed selection. The study results of the paper provide the basis for the application study of chaotic spread-spectrum sequences.
