Abstract :
The author discusses the West Beacon Power Farm which utilises wind turbines and photovoltaics for electricity generation. The author describes the installation of the wind turbines and solar panels and also discusses the export of power to the local electricity grid. The cost of generation compared to conventional systems is discussed. The various operating statistics are presented
