One cannot imagine a day without using a computer. The word Information technology is originated form computers. The impact of information technology is everywhere. We are discussing the needs, advantages and disadvantages of IT. We have taken the educational institutions as example and discussed the various impact of IT in teaching and learning. The various electronic gadgets using IT are much useful in various ways at various learning levels. A major benefit to an educational institution by integrating the Information Technology.
