Abstract
Kyushu Electric Power Co., Inc. (KEPCO) has developed and introduced a high-accuracy position-finding laser sensor for use with the semi-automatic overhead distribution line hot-line work robot system “Phase II” on which development began in 1990. This resulted in an approximate 40% increase in work efficiency for the system (Prototype Version 2 of “Phase II”) over Prototype Version 1. This paper gives an outline a Prototype Version 2 of “Phase II”
