  • Abstract
Computer-based exercises on stochastic signals used in a course on digital signal processing are described. Parts of this material are included in the CASPER project, a collection of computer exercises on digital signal processing topics. An overview is given of the projects dealing with the generation of stochastic signals, measuring their characteristics, and the influence of linear and nonlinear processing. Some of these topics are illustrated by an example
