  • Abstract
    DV-Hop and its improved algorithms for WSNs are analyzed. It proposes IDV-Hop(Improved DV-Hop) based on the special circumstances of coal mine. In IDV-Hop, every beacon node only broadcasts information within the n-hop, which reduces high communication overhead for flooding in the whole network and improves system stability. The anchor nodes are all from the least number of m anchor nodes within the n-hop, which enhances positioning accuracy and meet highly the requirement of practical applications.
