  • Abstract
    Due to the flammable and explosive properties of gas, the failure of transmission pipelines carrying natural gas leads threat to people and properties in the vicinity. This paper started from the gas accident early warning models which were composed of gas leakage model, diffusion model, fire and explosion model according to the actual situation, and introducing meteorological factors, population density. Then early warning models and gas pipeline network GIS were combined to construct the gas accident early warning system. the visual early warning analysis was actuality through the consequences calculated, and then some reliable basis was provided for decision makers.
