Abstract
Interfirm network for the impact of new product development has become the problem which managers and scholars are very concerned, but the research about the perspective of new product development conduct from the view of strength of the interfirm network are not specially many. Strength of the interfirm network as important part of enterprise competitiveness, Is there any internal contact with the development of new products? How to display interfirm network intensity better to serve for the enterprise new product development? This paper aims to do the research on the relationship between interfirm network strength and the development of new products. The results support that the closer relationship in network can improve the new product creation and the speed of the new product development. Meanwhile, because of the overlapped skills and the knowledge, the higher knowledge redundancy improves the new product creation and the speed of the new product development.
