Abstract :
This paper introduces a new approach for the direct utilization of large signal measurement data for rapid CAD-driven power amplifier design. It presents a method of directly importing nonlinear measurement data into a nonlinear CAD simulator. A model named as "truth model" has been proposed for formulating the data. The model has been implemented in ADS and it can accurately predict the large signal behaviour of the device under CW excitations. The model\´s robustness on interpolation and extrapolation has been successfully verified on a 30w LDMOS device
