  • Abstract
The deformation monitoring is an important means of slope control and main content of slope engineering. Based on the characteristics for highly incised slope of the Taipingxi and comparative analysis of multiple monitoring methods, the paper establishes the practical and economical and reliable GPS deformation monitoring network The paper also uses probability and statistics theories to analyze monitoring data of highly incised slope of Taipingxi. The results show that, at present the overall highly incised slope of Taipingxi is stable, and provides valuable experience for similar monitoring for highly incised slope in three gorges reservoir area.
