Abstract :
CASE method is a common way of high strain dynamic testing to ascertain the ultimate bearing capacity of pile. Based on reliable theory foundation, clear reasoning and stable results and on traveling wave theory, this article determine damping coefficient through standard deviation of fluctuation rate of ultimate bearing capacity during plastic deformation, as well as the ultimate bearing capacity of pile. And compare with the result of static load test, they are a good agreements with each other. The inference process of the bearing capacity of calculate formula is more simple, and the formula is not strict, so it´s formula can be used as a simple, reliable, low cost, time-saving, quasi-closed method in pile test project.
