Abstract :
Firstly, the technical principle of Y-section pile and mechanism on central diaphragm setting of Y-section sinking pipe were introduced. In the process of driving of Y-section sinking pipe, concrete pouring and uplifting of Y-section sinking pipe, the Y-section sinking pipe is subjected to alternate cycle load of compression-expansion-recompression, the significant deformation and even failure occur when sinking pipe is subjected repeatedly to this cycle load. And the deformation is reduced significantly when the central diaphragm is set in the inner of sinking pipe. The effect of the different setting position in different length sinking pipe on the radial stress and displacement of sinking pipe was studied by ABAQUS finite element software. The bigger the vertical distance between central diaphragm and welding seam is, the smaller deformation and the better durability for sinking pipe will be. The calculation results are consistent with empirical parameters. The measures that can reduce the deformation of Y-section sinking pipe and the suggested values about reasonable setting position in different length sinking pipe were presented.
