Abstract
Digital halftoning is a type of image processing that is important for output device. In order to product the halftone image with high quality, halftone dot characteristic is one of the most important factors. The paper aims at investigating the quality of halftone dot reproduction by utilizing halftone dot simulation. The result of experiment presents the quality of simulated halftone dot that benefits for soft proof on output device.
